Jess Lovibond Therapeutic Services CIC
Putting families at the heart of our services
WHAT WE DO!
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY!
I have worked with Jess since 2013 across 3 different settings. She continues to play an invaluable, active and significant role in supporting school improvement strategies relating to contextual safeguarding and pupil outcomes via supporting child-centred, holistic practice with staff and with families. Impactful supervision has been invaluable to staff well-being and outcomes for children and families over this Covid period. I endorse her skills without hesitation.

Therapeutic Family Services, Interventions and Solutions
Jess Lovibond Therapeutic Services CIC (JLTS) is passionate about changing and improving the lives of families and safeguarding children who have experienced Domestic Abuse (DA), trauma or Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).
Founder Jess Lovibond has devised a pioneering therapeutic system called The JLTS Model. It is child-centred, meaning the children/young people are the starting point of the process. The system focuses on the trauma and attachment issues the children/young people may be facing. There is comprehensive assessment and intervention to understand and then deliver what would best meet the needs of the children/young people and their families.
As a not-for-profit Community Interest Company we are proud to be able to offer free family services (subject to funding availability), interventions and solutions in the Swale and Medway areas of Kent, offering parenting support, parenting groups, mental health help, individual advice and our Peer-to-Peer support service for survivors of Domestic Abuse. We are lucky to have some fantastic volunteers working with us to enable us to provide direct therapeutic services and support to families in need.
For schools and other organisations working with vulnerable children and their families we provide a range of Professional Services such as: high-quality training workshops; bespoke therapeutic plans; clinical supervision; referrals; consultations and information sharing. We encourage and promote early intervention (early help) and therapeutic crisis intervention.
As specialists of Contextual Safeguarding, JLTS provide resources and systems for understanding and assessing Contextual Safeguarding risks and work with our clients to embed a person-centred, holistic approach into their practice for consistently improved outcomes.
We welcome schools and organisations to contact us for a free initial consultation to receive support and advice regarding children and families who have suffered DA, trauma or ACEs - this is a great way of gaining practice inspiration for those families whose circumstances do not meet the criteria for a statutory service (such as families affected by DA) or those whose circumstances are considered complex.
JLTS are proud to have released our first therapeutic story in August 2022! The World's Hairiest Fairy is available from Amazon now in paperback or for your Kindle. We now have 3 therapeutic stories available on Amazon, with more coming soon! Find out how therapeutic stories can help your young person, request a bespoke therapeutic story, and keep an eye out for more stories, covering a range of subjects, being released soon!

The JLTS Model uses bespoke holistic assessment and systemic therapy practices
JLTS Therapeutic Stories are a great way to gently and safely introduce the concept of difficult emotions or experiences to young people.
Therapeutic story events subtly reflect characters or events from every-day life so your young person can digest the story in their own time and find comparisons between themselves and the theme. A therapeutic story allows a narrative to be opened with your young person which may have overwhelmed them otherwise.
To introduce therapeutic thinking and holistic assessment frameworks into schools to enable better understanding and support for vulnerable families.
To provide high-quality, bespoke therapeutic family services, interventions and solutions via systemic practice.
Safeguarding children by promoting, educating and encouraging implementation of Contextual Safeguarding
